Our Trainee Program

The “Arte e Engenho” program aims to challenge and captivate young talent, motivating them to face the challenges of a dynamic market and prepare them for a successful professional career.

Over the course of 12 months, the Casais Group trainee program helps integrate high-potential young people into the Casais culture, while creating a team with strong and lasting connections.

Program Structure

The key challenge for the organization is integrating trainees into the Casais culture. All activities are designed to reinforce the company’s culture, values, and alignment with its strategy and goals, with continuous feedback being a fundamental premise of the program. This allows the company to manage trainees’ expectations regarding their future roles at Casais in a transparent manner.

At the start of the program, each trainee is assigned a mentor who will guide and support them throughout the entire program.

During each professional experience, trainees are accompanied by a supervisor, a senior manager within the company, who will support their integration into the respective team. This person is responsible for overseeing the work plans, tasks, and expected outcomes, as well as evaluating the trainee after each rotation.

In parallel, trainees have a specific support program coordinated by the Career Management Center team and the opportunity to participate in various activities within the organization.

Performance evaluations are continuous and based on the trainee’s progress.

Recruitment Process Stages

Our selection process for the program consists of four stages, all of which are elimination rounds. All candidates who successfully pass the resume screening stage will receive feedback regarding their continuation in the process, as well as those who do not progress further.

1 – Resume Screening
2 – In-person Evaluation with the Recruitment & Selection Team
3 – Evaluation with Casais Group Directors
4 – Interview with the CEO

Throughout this process, in addition to evaluating candidates’ technical and behavioral skills, we assess their professional ambitions, as well as their personal and academic backgrounds.

This process also provides the organization with an opportunity to map the competencies of these young talents and assess their alignment with Casais’ values and culture.

In addition to strong academic backgrounds, we’re looking for people who understand our approach to life and business.

In addition to these skills, the following selection criteria are also important: 

  • Strong academic background from a top-tier university; 
  • Fields of study: Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Quality, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Management), Architecture, and Health & Safety; 
  • Eligible for a professional internship or with less than 2 years of work experience; 
  • Minimum English level of B1 (written and spoken); 
  • Availability for geographical mobility and to work nationally and internationally.
