Our Trainee Programme
The “Arte e Engenho” (Art & Skill) programme aims to challenge and attract young talent, motivating them to face the challenges of a dynamic market and preparing them for a successful professional career.
Over the course of 12 months, the Casais Group trainee programme helps to integrate high-potential young people into the Casais culture, while creating a team with strong and lasting bonds.
Programme Structure
The key challenge for the organisation is to integrate trainees into the Casais culture. All activities are designed to reinforce the company’s culture, values, and alignment with its strategy and goals, with continuous feedback being a fundamental premise of the programme. This allows the company to manage trainees’ expectations with regard to their future roles at Casais in a transparent way.
At the start of the programme, each trainee is assigned a mentor who will guide and support them throughout the entire programme.
Throughout each professional experience, trainees are accompanied by a supervisor, a senior manager within the company who helps them integrate into the respective team. This person is responsible for overseeing the work plans, tasks, and expected outcomes, as well as evaluating the trainee after each rotation.
In parallel, trainees have a specific support programme coordinated by the Career Management Center team and the opportunity to participate in various activities within the organisation.
Performance evaluations are ongoing and based on the trainee’s progress.
Recruitment Process Stages
Our selection process for the programme consists of four stages, all of which are elimination rounds. All candidates who successfully pass the resume screening stage will receive feedback regarding their continuation in the process, as well as those who do not progress further.
1 – Resume Screening
2 – In-person evaluation with the Recruitment & Selection team
3 – Evaluation with Casais Group Directors
4 – Interview with the CEO
Throughout the process, we evaluate the candidates’ technical and behavioral skills, as well as their professional ambitions and their personal and academic backgrounds.
This process also provides the organisation with an opportunity to map the competencies of these young talents and assess their alignment with Casais’ values and culture.
95%
of trainees stay with the company after the first year.
